The Rev. Robert J. Randall, Jr.
The Rev. Robert J. Randall, Jr.Rector
Bob has been rector of Old Donation since September 1, 2004, coming to us from the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast (Alabama). He loves the Lord and is a graduate of Virginia Seminary in Alexandria. Prior to ordained ministry, Bob had 20 years of industrial manufacturing experience. He jokes that his engineering degrees might actually have been the right foundation for his ministry since now he knows he must rely on God’s wisdom rather than some extensive education in the arts! He and his wife, Chris, are a good match for the joyful spirit and the desire to deeply develop the spiritual life that is so much a part of Old Donation.
Bob and Chris have two grown children, one living in Alabama with their four cherished granddaughters, and one doing graduate school work at UNC-Chapel Hill after years of teaching in various locations, including Medellin, Colombia, South America.
The Rev. Ashley Urquidi
The Rev. Ashley UrquidiAssistant Rector
Ashley graduated from Seminary of the Southwest and was ordained at Old Donation on July 14, 2015. She and her husband, Ben have two adorable young boys, Levi and Joel. Ashley has a degree in Psychology from Hood College in Frederick, MD, where she also worked as a youth minister prior to attending seminary. Though Maryland is her sponsoring Diocese and will always have a place in her heart, Ashley is thrilled to be able to do ministry with Old Donation and can’t imagine a better place to live, work, and raise her family. She is a firm believer in the power of the Holy Spirit, and knows that it was God’s work that brought her here, to what is, in her eyes, a perfect fit.
